Saudi professional photographer Youssef Bajash succeeded in taking photos of lightning in Mecca, the holiest place for Muslims, according to Sabq.
He captured the enthralling pictures as thundery rain lashed Mecca and other parts of Saudi Arabia over the past few hours.
The photos which were posted on social medical, showed lightning striking near the Clock Tower.
The Saudi meteorological authorities said the southern and eastern parts of Mecca province had the most rainfall over the past few hours, replenishing rivers and other water streams.
