Malabar Gold and Diamonds has announced 1,000,000 Indian rupees (BD5,400) in support of 10 distressed families, in partnership with the Indian Community Relief Fund (ICRF).
Malabar Gold and Diamonds Bahrain branch manager Mohammed Rafeeq announced the contribution during Spectra 2018, the 10th edition of the annual fund-raising art carnival organised by ICRF, in the presence of Indian Embassy second secretary Renu Yadav, ICRF chairman Aruldas Thomas and other officials.
The contribution – a part of the group’s corporate social responsibility initiatives – was also made to mark the group’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
