Manama: Gulf Air and travel industry technology partner Amadeus have extended their strategic partnership for three years, with the continuation of the Amadeus Loyalty Management Solution (ALMS), it was announced yesterday.
The continued relationship is expected to further enhance Gulf Air’s business capabilities, aided by Amadeus loyalty solutions.
After the signing of an agreement on the renewal of the partnership, Gulf Air’s director of information technology Dr Jassim Haji said loyalty services were critical for any airline and in order for it to be able to satisfy and reward loyal passengers, a strong, flexible and dynamic solution was needed.
“Amadeus Loyalty Management Solution has proved to be very effective and we are pleased to continue our relationship with them that has spanned over six years to date,” he added.
Amadeus MENA Airline IT vice-president Maher Koubaa said the ALMS is part of the Amadeus Loyalty Suite, which is used by over 30 airlines worldwide, and has been lauded for its track record of improving communications and creating strong relationships between its customers and their loyalty programme members.
“We are delighted to continue supporting Gulf Air in strengthening their customer loyalty programme that will allow the airline to personalise and enhance its customer engagement, improving brand and revenues and supporting future expansion of their partner ecosystem through a seamless integration,” he added.
Following the acquisition of Hitit Loyalty’s operations in 2013, Amadeus has reinforced its customer relationship management portfolio with a comprehensive roadmap in loyalty and customer service supported by the Amadeus Altéa Suite.
“The resulting upgraded service line, the Amadeus Loyalty Management Solution, continues to be the preferred customer loyalty solution for Amadeus’ existing customers and has helped the company expand its client base across the globe,” said Mr Koubaa.
