Bahrain ace Khaled Mohammed scored a fine double in an exciting third round of the 2015-2016 Bahrain Drag Racing Championship, hosted last week by Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir.
Mohammed triumphed in both the Super Street V8 and Pro Mod classes to headline a fine performance from the E K Kanoo Racing Team during an action-packed and chilly night, in which American teammate Garry White also won in the Outlaw 6-Cylinder division.
“It was a very good round from us,” said Mohammed. “We were testing all week so we were as prepared as we could be for the event.
“The track was also very good. The weather was perfect, so everything was in place for us to do well.”
A total of 95 participants, competing in 13 different categories for cars and bikes, turned up at Sakhir for the head-to-head battles.
The meeting was organised by Bahrain Drag Racing Club (BDRC) in cooperation with BIC and Bahrain Motor Federation (BMF).
