Dubai: The United Arab Emirates is bringing new technologies in every field; from traffic to health to security to education.
It has now come up with new Smart Government programme at the Ministry of Interior for ‘Hemayati’ project for the safety and security of children living in the Emirates.
Hemayati Bracelet is considered one of the technologies that offer excellent governmental services, leading to increased customer satisfaction.
The bracelet include a tracking chipset which enables the child wearing the bracelet to call for help with a push of a button.
The idea of a Himayati Bracelet was originated by Lt. Colonel Faisal Mohammed Al Shimmari, Executive Director of the MoI’s Smart Government programme at the Ministry of Interior.
According to Faisal Mohammed, MoI cooperated with one of the international research centres to develop the bracelet according to smart technologies and high-quality specifications. The project was initiated in 2013, and later was developed and linked to ‘Hemayati’ system.
He explained that Hemayati Bracelet promotes smart security concepts that aim to protect and nurture children in a creative and innovative manner.
Other features of Himayati Bracelet include monitoring the heartbeat of the children; sensing the surrounding; sensing any attempt to forcibly remove the bracelet; and many other features.
