Kuwait City: Eight children died of suffocation when fire gutted their house in the area of Sabah Al Ahmed in Kuwait.
The firefighting units rushed the children to the hospital but they passed away on arrival. Five other people survived.
An inquiry was launched to investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of the children who are aged eight months to 14 years.
The victims are Turki Sultan Al Otaibi (14), Munira Sultan (12). Nahar Sultan (10), Abdulrahman Sultan (9), Juri Sultan (7), Hajer Sultan (3), Bandar Sultan (2) and Muslat Sultan (8).
