Muscat: Oman's Health Ministry has registered 896 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) today, in addition to three new deaths.
Of the new cases, 391 were Omanis and 505 were non-Omanis.
This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases to 28,566.
The Ministry also announced 806 recoveries, bringing the total number to 14,780.
In the past 24 hours, the ministry conducted 2,448 Covid-19 tests, adding that 63 cases were hospitalised today, out of 411 Covid-19-infected patients, of which 99 are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).
A total of 128 people have died due to Covid-19.
