Kuwait City: Kuwait's Health Ministry has revealed its intention to postpone the second dose of the Oxford vaccine by three months, after studies confirmed its efficacy.
The step, which is aimed at expanding the number of segments covered by the vaccination, comes after the publication of medical studies confirming that the effectiveness of the vaccine increases with the delay of the second dose, health officials told Al-Qabas daily.
Officials explained that those who have received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine will receive their booster shot on time after a period ranging between 21 and 28 days without any delay.
