MANAMA: Bahrain’s sovereign wealth fund Mumtalakat is exploring opportunities and potential joint projects with Israel, it has emerged.
The announcement follows a virtual meeting yesterday involving Mumtalakat chief executive Khalid Al Rumaihi, Israel’s National Economic Council head and economic adviser to the Prime Minister Prof Avi Simhon and Israel’s Prime Minister’s Office for Internal Affairs and Development deputy director general Lior Farber.
During the meeting, various opportunities for investment and further collaboration were discussed that could present future growth and development prospects for both nations.
