His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa delegated SCYS first deputy chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa to attend the conclusion of the Nasser Bin Hamad Premier League 2020-21 season.
He witnessed the match between champions Riffa and Malkiya, which the former won 4-1. He presented the trophy to the champions who topped the table with 45 points.
In addition, the match also has been attended by HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohamed bin Isa Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Combat Sports Council, HE Mr Abdulrahman Askar, the General Secretary Assistant of SCYS, HE Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Football Association, HE Shaikh Khalid bin Salman Al Khalifa, Deputy President of Bahrain Football Association, HE Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa, President of Riffa club, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Deputy President of Riffa Club, HE Mr Jassim Abdulaal, President of Almalkiya Club.
At the end of the match, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa crowned Riffa as champions of the prestigious competition. On this occasion, HH Shaikh Khalid congratulated Riffa Club on achieving the double after also winning HM the King Cup. He also praised the great performances shown by the team throughout the season, valuing the strong preparations of the team which allowed them to secure the double.
HH Shaikh Khalid also applauded the enormous efforts exerted by Riffa's Board of Directors under the leadership of HE Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa. He also paid tribute to HE Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa President of Bahrain Football Association for the successful organisation of Nasser bin Hamad Premier League.
