Kuwait City: Kuwait has announced that the country's citizens, their first-degree relatives and domestic workers who have not been vaccinated against Covid-19 will be banned from traveling abroad, starting May 22.
The announcement was made by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in a circular, informing all airlines operating at Kuwait International Airport of the same.
The ban does not affect citizens who are ineligible to receive vaccinations; while the ban on the entry of expatriates into the country will continue until further notice.
The country has exempted the following categories:
1. Those who have received both doses of the vaccine and two weeks have passed since the second dose.
2..Those who received one dose of the vaccine and five weeks have passed
3. Those who recovered from Covid-19 and more than two weeks have passed since they have received one dose of the vaccine.
