MANAMA: Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam Khalaf has unveiled a plan to draw up a performance-based strategy.
The roadmap will cover mainly the departments of municipalities affairs, agriculture, marine and animal resources. The tender for the project was awarded to a national firm which will be tasked to lay a comprehensive blueprint featuring performance indicators, initiatives and plans.
The minister said that the issue of food security would top the roadmap’s main goals, in line with the government’s development policies.
