Kuwait has signed two contracts to establish a KD 3.295 million treatment centre for drug addicts.
The announcement was made by the Social Affairs and Community Development Ministry Undersecretary Abdulaziz Shuaib who said two contracts had been signed for the supervision and implementation of a project to – establish, complete and maintain a centre for the treatment of drug addicts.
"The project shows the keenness of the National Projects Committee to serve the Kuwaiti society," he said in a statement to Al-Qabas.
The centre, which is expected to be completed in 24 months, will be built in the Al-Sabah Health Area, covering an area of 6,720 square meters.
