THE Crown Prince and Prime Minister has reiterated Bahrain’s commitment to embrace and promote tolerance, dialogue and acceptance between all faiths, in line with His Majesty King Hamad’s vision and leadership.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, was speaking as he received yesterday the Apostolic Vicar of Southern Arabia and Apostolic Administrator of Northern Arabia, Bishop Paul Hinder, at Riffa Palace.
HRH Prince Salman praised Bishop Hinder’s humanitarian efforts to spread goodwill, devotion and tolerance. He noted Bahrain’s dedication to promote initiatives that bolster cultural pluralism, peace and rapprochement between religions, highlighting the significant role played by the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence in consolidating these values.
Bishop Hinder commended Bahrain’s cultural diversity and history of religious and cultural tolerance.
Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club High Committee chairman Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa were present.
