A RETIRED Bahraini father-of-three has won one million dollars in Ahli United Bank’s MyHassad draw.
Mohammed Jawad Hasan is the third person to receive the prize after the past two winners were announced in April and July.
A ceremony was held at City Centre Bahrain in which Mr Hasan and his family were celebrated for the life-changing prize.
“I have been a part of Ahli United’s MyHassad saving scheme for a long time and to win this amount is amazing,” said the 40-year-old. “I will be using the amount for treatment, to care for my family, for their education and perhaps buy a home.”
The fourth million dollar winner will be announced in January.
MyHassad accounts can be opened in Bahraini Dinars and several other currencies, and are available to individual clients, joint accounts, as well as the youth and children. Over the past two decades, MyHassad has given away more than $185m to more than 17,800 lucky winners.
