A diverse team of Brazilian companies has acquired information on the industry dynamics, consumer behaviour, and suitable and ample opportunities for Brazilian products in the Arab region.
In a three-day-long business mission, the Brazilian companies with previous exporting experience to the Arab nations, and the companies seeking opportunities for the first time, learned about the regions' business trends and discovered opportunities that are in synergy with their products and services.
The business mission was organised by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) for representatives from eleven companies in Brazil in Dubai.
The delegation from multiple sectors explored their business prospects and received training on Creative Thinking and Innovation in the UAE.
The business mission was organised in line with the prospects of the Brazilian companies to capitalise on the open economy, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and status as a financial, commercial, logistical, and regional hub that makes UAE a suitable choice for Foreign Direct Investments (FDI).
The visit of the Brazilian business delegation was also in line with the opportunities that have emerged with Expo 2020 Dubai, as the global event has created a platform for 192 countries in the world to collaborate and contribute to global progress.
The delegation’s visit to Expo 2020 also enabled them to explore the opportunities for fostering business with the various participating countries from across the world besides that in the UAE. The world expo also allowed the delegates from Brazil to witness the participating nations’ prospects on sustainability, mobility, and opportunities for a sustainable global future.
Osmar Chohfi, President, Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce said: “The UAE and Brazil share the common goal of using innovative strategies for sustainable development and are determined to further the cooperation between the markets to find more business opportunities. UAE's mastery over innovation-focused sectors like financial services, energy, and healthcare, with ample resources, excellent infrastructure, and opportunities can support the prospects of Brazilian companies looking to expand their business in this region and beyond. The business mission which follows the successful mission held in 2019 is another step in the countries’ interest in shared activities.”
In addition to visits to the Expo 2020 pavilions, the businessmen mission met with representatives of ADG Legal, Pan Arab Research Center, Madar Farms, Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad) and Dubai Airport Free Zones (Dafza).
Chohfi added: “We have scheduled meetings in relation with matters dealing with opportunity, mobility and sustainability It will allow the delegates to understand the transport infrastructure in the region or to get an overview about the Arab consumers who are aware of environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) issues.”
Apart from exploring the business prospects in the region, the team of Brazilian business leaders also received courses to gain a better understanding of the business ecosystem in the region.
The unique learning experience was delivered to the delegates through training sessions, and insightful discussions on agile innovation methodologies from the viewpoint of the Arab business world, and the export procedures and regulatory requirements in the UAE.
ABCC is confident that this business mission will open business opportunities for Brazilian industries that will, in turn, contribute to economic growth, strengthening the relationship between the UAE and Brazil.-- TradeArabia News Service
