Supreme Council for Youth and Sport first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority (GSA) chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa received at his office in Al Wadi Palace Bahrain national cricket team members who won the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier in Doha.
Shaikh Khalid said that the victory was due to the outstanding performances of the players, adding that this accomplishment represents a great start for the national team towards further successes. He also congratulated the association’s board members on the achievement.
Present were GSA deputy chairman Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, chief executive Dr Abdulrahman Askar, BOC secretary general Mohammed Al Nusuf and Bahrain Cricket Association president Hatem Dadabai.
