Two Bahrainis killed in horrific car accident
Speeding, tailgating, cutting in, being on phones – that is why there are so many crashes.
@emmalouwalsh1989
This has to stop. People need to stop thinking they are immortal and super skilled F1 drivers on the road. They need to think about others, just as they would do when outside of their cars.
@haq.the.ronin
Authorities please, please install more cameras and implement a fine system to avoid these kinds of tragedies.
@ensembleartbymukta
RIP gentlemen. Let’s not forget they were young guys. Yes, speed kills but we have all been young once and made poor choices.
@ros_amy1
How many times do we hear of accidents happening in the early hours of the morning? People appear reckless about red lights during that time. We need stricter laws so people take road safety seriously. RIP.
@touseef_z
Hey, whatever reason is for this accident, we all should NOT touch a mobile phone whilst driving. Having one hand on the steering wheel and the other on your mobile, with your eyes on the screen while driving. This is dangerous.
@bhanbahrain
How many drivers here jump the red lights? Not sure how you stop this crazy, idiotic and insane driving? Harsher punishments perhaps? An unnecessary waste of young lives.
@debbieal
Rash drivers think they’re smart, they are responsible for every single life in the car and on the road. Speed may thrill, but it definitely kills.
@sytzclickz_solitude
I don’t know how many more fatalities have to take place before a serious approach is enforced to road safety. Is there a road safety unit here? Or a visible traffic police division? Daily I have to drive and be on the lookout for those driving and texting, driving with children in the driver’s lap, on mummy’s lap in the front, swerving in and out with no indicators.
What will it take for the authorities and the powers that be to get very tough on these offenders? Come on authorities this is happening too often now!
@dewaynebowen
When will people stop looking at their phone screens while driving?
@skincare_revs
Yellow blinking signal light introduced to control red light jump. Now humps should be installed at least 100 metres before each signal, it may not be right and may be irritating, but safety of all is important.
