A man in India suffered fractures in both legs after jumping nearly 30 feet from Pahuj Dam in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, while filming a social media reel.
The 38-year-old misjudged the water level and landed on rocks in a shallow section of the dam instead of deep water.
Bystanders rushed to pull him from the water, and he was transported to a private hospital for treatment.
Footage recorded by his friends captured the moment, with one heard saying, "May God rest your soul in peace", just moments before he jumped.
