Bahrain’s national teams are stepping up preparations to take part in the 3rd Gulf Games, to be held in Kuwait from May 13-31,
Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) held a co-ordination committee meeting which brought together the administrative delegation and the sports federations taking part in the tournament.
Supreme Council for Youth and Sports first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman and BOC president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa appointed BOC vice-president Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa to lead the Bahrain delegation.
Bahrain will be competing in 16 sports – handball, basketball, volleyball, judo, karate, fencing, shooting, tennis, cycling, athletics, swimming, icehocky, electronic games, table tennis, padel, and futsal. The Bahraini women will compete in six events.
