An Indian expatriate mother fell to her death from the 20th floor of a residential building in Juffair on Thursday night.
Police and ambulance crews rushed to upmarket Juffair Heights, at around 9pm. Her body was found on a footpath in a private park area of the compound with children playing on swings close by.
All attempts to revive Parvathi Deewana Govinda, 40, failed and authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
Her husband and their school-age son were believed to have been inside the family’s apartment when she stepped out on to the balcony for the final time.
