A LONG-TIME Bahrain resident is set to represent the kingdom at a beauty pageant in Dubai next month.
Tina Nellicken is taking part in the Mrs Middle East contest, which is unique as the contestants do not have to meet any physical requirements of height, weight, and body measurements.
Mrs Nellicken is a dancer, model, television host and an actor. Winners of the contest will go on to take part in the prestigious Mrs Universe South Korea – an annual international event for ‘the most honourable married woman’ first organised in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2007.
Mrs Nellicken has been working in the aviation sector for the past many years and walked the ramp for several brands. Among the titles she was won are Indian Club May Queen 2005, Miss India Bahrain 2003, Indian Club Bahrain Winter Queen 2002, and July Rose 2002.
Mrs Nellicken also launched #URBeautiful, a campaign to celebrate beauty in a unique format. She is married to Tony Nellicken and the couple has four children.
