Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) president and Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Rera) chief executive Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa received head United Kingdom’s Hydrographic Office (UKHO) Rear Admiral Rhett Hatcher.
Shaikh Salman congratulated him on his appointment to the key post in one of the most prestigious institutions specialising in marine surveys in the world.
He pointed out the long-standing relations between SLRB and UKHO which span more than 22 years of joint co-operation, stressing the capabilities and competence of UKHO. He stressed the importance of the agreement signed by both sides, which is renewed every five years, in further promoting co-operation.
Rear Admiral Hatcher praised Bahrain’s advanced capabilities in marine survey and its production of navigational maps and accurate data accredited worldwide.
He also lauded constructive co-operation between UKHO and SLRB, thanking Shaikh Salman for the gracious welcome and hospitality.
