Alternative medicines for allergy and cold that have run out from some private pharmacies are now available, National Health Regulatory Authority chief executive Dr Mariam Al Jalahma has said.
They have identical chemical composition and are used for the same purpose but under different trade names, she said yesterday.
She said medicines such as Advil Cold Science, Unifeed Extra and Salinal have identical alternatives available in
pharmacies.
The authority publishes a list of all medicines on its website along with the name of the pharmacy and available alternatives, she noted.
