The Directorate of International Affairs and Interpol at the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science held a final National Biological Security Team meeting on Wednesday and Thursday.
Officers from security directorates took part.
The meeting reviewed the outcomes of two workshops held in Bahrain in 2022 on biological terrorism and accidents.
It reviewed co-operation with security authorities, scenarios on biological threats, and how to deal with them.
