A seminar on ‘Auditing Emerging Technologies’ was jointly organised by Bahrain Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (BCICAI) and the Bahrain Chapter of ISACA, an international professional association focused on IT governance.
The technical seminar comprised a session titled ‘Practical insights for auditors on Robotics Process Automation (RPA)’ delivered by Sysprove Consulting chief executive Ravi Jayasundera and ‘Best practices for cybersecurity audit’ delivered by Beyon Cyber chief technology officer Abubakr Arshad.
More than 100 members of both organisations, including BCICAI chairwoman Sharmila Shet and ISACA Bahrain Chapter president Dr Mazen Ali, attended the educational event at Crowne Plaza.
