The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) hosted the first weekly raffle draw of the Manama Gold Festival today (April 28, 2023). In one week, 13 valuable prizes were given out in Souq Al Manama with 2,474 receipt holders participating.
The festival, which runs from April 13 to May 27, features 416 gold, jewelry, and pearl shops in Souq Al Manama, providing weekly, instant, and grand prizes, as well as informative and artistic installations about Bahraini gold history by Bahraini artists and designers, hanging festive elements between gold shops, organizing a pop-up market, and hosting live music shows.
"We are pleased to announce the lucky winners of the first weekly raffle draw of the Manama Gold Festival that promises nationals, expatriates, and tourists Bahraini gold fans with special offers and pleasant surprises, offering an exceptional experience to all visitors of Souq Al Manama, one of the oldest markets across the region, especially in the renowned Bahraini gold," said Dr. Nasser Qaedi, CEO of Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, on this occasion.
"We express our sincere gratitude to all gold shops that participated in providing valuable prizes to winners in the first weekly raffle draw," Dr. Nasser remarked. Throughout the festival, all audiences will witness more valuable prizes. The number of purchase receipts in the first weekly raffle draw reflects the impressive audience that visited the festival in its early days, with many visitors from Bahrain and beyond expressing enjoyment with the festival's unique shopping choices."
It's worth noting that 28 gold shops are sponsoring the festival’s prizes this year, mainly: Malabar Jewellery, Jumbo Gold, AlseefJewellery, Mashallah City, AltawheedJewellery, Alhashimi Pearls, Aljasrah Jewellery, Alsharhan Pearls, Niyaz Pearls, Manama Pearl, Bin Naser Jewellery, Alnafeeseh Jewellery, and Bahar Jewellery.
