Bahrain’s laws ensure safety of workers
What would also be great to add to these good efforts already being put in place is if a legislation could be considered around workers’ health and safety in the event an employer faces financial difficulties and delays salary payments while labourers are still expected to continue working. If they have no money to purchase food it results in a state of hunger which can put their health and safety at risk within the workplace. Labour work is mostly physical so it would be great if legislation could consider provision of minimum food sustenance in such challenging times. We would love to be a part of that solution and distribute emergency food rations on behalf of the government to workers in need. We’d very much like to assist in these efforts.

He should add efforts to stop employers from cheating their employees and making false cases and not paying them for their hard-working hours.

Study focus on fair wages
What is the government doing to study salaries of workers in Bahrain? Meet the workers by themselves and carry out statistics on their salaries; it will solve a lot of mischievous actions by employers in Bahrain.
