Sanad Primary Boys School has finished on top among government schools in the National Smart Investor Competition organised by Bahrain Bourse in collaboration with INJAZ Bahrain as a part of the 2022-2023 Smart Investor Programme.
In the private schools category, the first place was bagged by Modern Knowledge School.
Additionally, the Best Video award from the first stage of the competition went to the students from Al Hidd Primary Boys School for the government schools category, and Al Raja School for the private schools category.
Among government schools, Saba Primary Girls School and Al Orouba Primary Girls School came second and third, respectively, whereas Al Hekma International School and Al Noor International School bagged the second and third prizes in the private schools category.
The winners received their awards during a ceremony held last week at the Gulf Hotel Convention and Spa, in the presence of INJAZ Bahrain chairperson Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, and Bahrain Bourse chief executive Shaikh Khalifa bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, as well as officials from the Education Ministry, judges, school co-ordinators and students.
A total of 46 teams took part in the competition, including 33 government schools and 13 private schools, with a total of 182 students.
First launched during the academic year 2018-2019, the Smart Investor Programme employs interactive edutainment activities to break down basic concepts linked to money management and savings, encouraging smart financial planning.
