Manama: Bahrain condemns and denounces the storming and vandalising of the headquarters of its embassy and the residence of the Bahrain's Ambassador in Khartoum, by an armed group.
The attack is considered as a serious violation of the rules of international law and diplomatic agreements.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the need to stop acts of violence and vandalism in Sudan, to provide full protection for the headquarters of diplomatic missions and civilian facilities, and to punish those responsible.
It also renewed its call to the Sudanese parties to prioritize national interest, and to respond to Saudi-US initiative to stop military operations through dialogue to achieve security, stability, peace and prosperity for Sudan.
