Three young men died and another suffered serious injuries early this morning following an horrific accident on Budaiya Highway, near Sanabis.
The deceased 18 and 19-year-olds were travelling in a car which overturned, said the Interior Ministry. A third young man later died in hospital from the injuries he suffered and a fourth victim is fighting for his life in an intensive care unit.
It is believed the youngsters were all in the same car which careered into a parked trailer, sheering it in half.
Social media has featured photographs of three young men from Sanabis said to have been involved in the incident. Funeral arrangements have been made.
Police investigations are continuing.
