BENEFIT, the kingdom’s innovator and leading company in fintech and electronic financial transactions service, denied news circulated on social media regarding the hacking of the Benefit Pay application.
In a statement published on its official account on social networking site X it dismissed such reports as totally false, as the application adopts strict security and safety standards to ensure the user’s identity.
The company renewed warnings against fraudulent calls, stressing that Benefit will not contact any of its service users to request secret codes and will not send text messages containing links.
It called on members of public to exercise caution and not to re-publish news and rumours without verifying their authenticity, reports our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej.
