Arab Parliament Speaker Adel Al Asoomi has affirmed that the enlightened vision of His Majesty King Hamad regarding the consolidation of the independence of the judiciary has enhanced the progress of the kingdom’s judicial system.
He praised the royal keenness to improve the efficiency of the judiciary and consolidate the principle of the rule of law, being among the pillars of the comprehensive development process, led by His Majesty.
Mr Al Asoomi also commended the great efforts made by the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to support the kingdom’s judicial branch to carry out its national responsibilities of preserving rights, consolidating social security and stability, as well as achieving justice in its broad and modern meaning.
The Arab Parliament Speaker made the statements while meeting Egyptian State Council president Adel Fahim Mohamed Azab in the presence of members of the council’s general assembly.
Mr Azab commended the efforts of the Arab Parliament, under the leadership of Mr Al Asoomi, to enhance joint Arab action, stressing the State Council’s keenness to bolster co-operation with the Arab Parliament.
