Municipal authorities in Muharraq have cracked down on road occupancy violations.
They removed several plastic cones used to illegally block public roads and bunker down spaces to stop other people from parking in certain areas.
The municipality also towed away abandoned cars and took administrative measures following the expiry of notices sent to violators. A dilapidated building in block 217 was demolished for public safety, the municipality said on its Instagram account.
