OFFICIALS from the American Mission Hospital (AMH) visited the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, the US, as part of a special collaboration that will bring the Minnesota-based hospital to Bahrain.
The collaboration, with the best hospital in the world according to Newsweek-Statista’s listing of the World’s Best Hospitals 2023, would see engagement and co-operation on three levels – governance, quality improvement and development of staff.
More than 100 AMH doctors and other medical and surgical staff will be going through developmental training in the next few months as part of the collaboration.
It was attended by AMH chief executive Dr George Cheriyan and Mayo Clinic president and chief executive Dr Gianrico Farrugia.
