Several suspects have been arrested in seven separate incidents for smuggling drugs worth more than BD27,000, the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Evidence said on Monday.
It added that the suspects, aged between 21 and 39, were arrested following a tip-off and this led to the identification and arrest of the suspects, and the substances were confiscated.
Legal measures were taken to refer the suspects to the Public Prosecution.
