A special event to showcase the cultural journey and traditions of different Indian states was held by the Indian Embassy at its premises in Seef District. The ‘India in Bahrain Festival’ was attended by more than 500 members of the diaspora.
Special stands representing different Indian states were set up. The event also featured musical performances and the presentation of a collection of poems titled Headstrings by Kaashvi Jagdish, an Indian student studying in Bahrain.
Present at the event was Capital Governorate information and follow-up director Yusuf Lori.
