Inspirational two-time World Endurance Championship competitor Manal Fakhrawi will be the latest sporting star to take part in the popular Nissan Middle East filmed production of Mark Your Trail, in collaboration with Nissan Bahrain.
Y K Almoayyed & Sons (YKA), the exclusive distributor of Nissan vehicles in the kingdom, said it was ‘thrilled’ by the partnership. The series highlights inspiring stories of athletes from across the region including Bahrain, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan and Lebanon who ‘defy the ordinary’.
Ms Fakhrawi is featured in the Bahrain episode, showcasing her unique bond with her horse whilst discussing personal achievements and her motivation behind sitting on the saddle in one of the most challenging sporting environments.
“The six-episode series, each spotlighting an athlete from a different Middle Eastern country, explores their passions, inspirations, achievements and driving forces. Each athlete is paired with the popular Nissan X-TRAIL SUV, a vehicle embodying the spirit of adventure,” said a Nissan Bahrain spokesperson.
“The Mark Your Trail series aims to reflect the adventurous spirit of both the athletes and the 2024 Nissan X-TRAIL. The X-TRAIL, a mid-size SUV designed for families and adventurers, boasts innovative technologies for safety, convenience, and comfort.”
The series continues to highlight a diverse range of sports, including skiing, equestrianism, parkour, squash, gymnastics and cycling.
The 2024 Nissan X-TRAIL, now available at the Nissan Bahrain showroom, offers features such as Nissan Intelligent Mobility for a safer and more connected driving experience. Customers can choose from four trim levels (S, SV, N-TREK, SL), 2WD or 4WD configurations, and 5-seater or 7-seater options.
