The Bahrain Institute for Public Administration (BIPA) successfully concluded the second edition of its leadership development programme for Bahrain Development Bank (BDB) staff, the institute announced yesterday.
The programme equipped participants with enhanced leadership skills, project management expertise, and innovative problem-solving capabilities through intensive workshops and training sessions.
BIPA director general Dr Shaikha Rana bint Isa Al Khalifa emphasised the institute’s ongoing commitment to providing diverse leadership programmes tailored to the evolving needs of public and private sector organisations.
“These programmes meet the highest international standards and contribute to achieving the kingdom’s goals of empowering national talent as a key driver of development across both sectors,” Dr Al Khalifa added.
BDB group chief executive Dalal Al Qais congratulated the graduates, commending their “exceptional performance” and the innovative projects developed during the programme.
“These projects will enhance our operations and elevate the customer experience,” Ms Al Qais said. “Our partnership with BIPA in designing and delivering this programme aligns with BDB’s vision of fostering leadership and building a strong management team.”
She reiterated BDB’s commitment to investing in employee development, making it a top priority for the bank.
