A woman, who was jailed for biting a female police officer while being detained on suspicion of another crime, has penned a desperate, heartfelt plea to judges asking for mercy.
In November last year, the High Criminal Court sentenced the 36-year-old Bahraini to three years behind bars for assaulting two female officers, disrespecting them and publicly insulting their honour .
