His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and Economic Development Board (EDB) Chairman yesterday issued an edict restructuring the EDB.
Its new members will be Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa; the Finance and National Economy Minister, the Labour Minister, the EDB chief executive, the Industry and Commerce Minister, the Central Bank of Bahrain Governor, the Bahrain Chamber chairman, the Crown Prince’s Court political and economic affairs adviser and the Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company CEO.
Other members include Samer Al Jishi, Yusuf Ali Reza, Tariq Al Saffar, Khalid Al Rumaihi, Khalid Al Amin, Najla Al Shirawi, Rasha Sabkar, Ali Shafie, Nabeel Kanoo, Hala Yateem, Hala Almoayyed and Alaa Saeed.
Their membership term is set for three years, starting from the date of issuance of the edict, which shall be published in the Official Gazette.
