Thousands of Bahrain’s business leaders will head to the polls today to elect a new board of directors for the Bahrain Chamber, marking a defining milestone for the kingdom’s private sector.
Voting for the 31st term is scheduled to take place at Exhibition World Bahrain from 8am to 10pm.
The Elections Committee chairman Abbas Abdulmohsen Radhi described the event as a ‘pivotal moment’ that transcends a mere procedural vote.
“This represents the collective will of the business community and its vision for a more prosperous, sustainable future,” Mr Radhi said.
“It is a crucial juncture that will shape the next phase of our private sector’s growth and regional competitiveness.”
Mr Radhi emphasised that the elections carry exceptional weight this year as the private sector continues to act as a primary engine for national economic diversification.
