The King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence (KHGC) mourned Cardinal Miguel Ángel Ayuso Guixot, a member of the centre’s board of trustees and the head of the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue at the Holy See, who died at the age of 72.
The cardinal was recognised for his remarkable contributions to humanity and dedication to fostering interfaith and cultural dialogue, tolerance, and coexistence, it said .
