Bahrain has expressed its strongest condemnation following an armed individual's attempt to storm the White House Correspondents' Association annual dinner in Washington, D.C.
In a statement issued by the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the kingdom reiterated its firm rejection of violence and terrorism in all forms. Bahrain affirmed its solidarity with the United States and commended the vigilance of the security guards who thwarted the assailant.
Bahrain extended its wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured security officer and expressed its ongoing support for the health and safety of President Donald Trump.
