THOUSANDS of people celebrated as Bahrain rang in 2025 with dazzling fireworks displays at multiple locations in Manama and Muharraq.
The skies over eight iconic landmarks were lit up in bursts of colour at the stroke of midnight as crowds gathered to watch the spectacle at Qala’at Al Bahrain, Water Garden City, Bahrain Harbour, Bahrain Bay Beach, The Avenues, Manama near Bahrain National Museum, Alsayah Square and Marassi Galleria Mall.
In addition, drone shows were held at Bahrain Bay and The Avenues Bahrain.
Roads, malls and beaches were packed as a large influx of holidaymakers from the GCC and beyond flooded the kingdom to enjoy the year-end festivities.
