BAHRAIN has offered its condolences to Türkiye over the deaths of 76 people in a fire at a ski resort hotel.
Bahrain’s Foreign Ministry, in a statement, expressed condolences to the Turkish government, people and the families and relatives of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery for all those injured.
Some 51 people were also injured, Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said at the Kartalkaya ski resort in the northwest Bolu mountains. An investigation was underway into the fire, which coincided with school holidays when many families head to the mountains to ski.
