Bahrain has condemned the attack on the convoy of a United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (Unifil), near Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut, as a flagrant violation of the rules of international law.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry expressed the country’s solidarity with Lebanon and its support for measures to maintain the country’s security and stability. It also backed efforts to conduct a full investigation to hold the perpetrators accountable.
The ministry reaffirmed its appreciation for the Unifil force and its role in supporting stability in Lebanon.
