His Majesty King Hamad sent a cable of congratulations to King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of Jordan on the success of his surgery.
His Majesty wished King Abdullah good health and happiness, and further progress and prosperity for Jordan under his leadership.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, also sent a cable of congratulations to King Abdullah on his successful surgery.
King Abdullah left hospital yesterday after undergoing minor surgery, the royal palace said.
The 63-year-old monarch was admitted earlier in the day for an incisional hernia at the country’s King Hussein Medical City.
He is set to resume his working schedule today, according to the royal palace.
