His Majesty King Hamad and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, sent a cable of congratulations to Emperor Naruhito of Japan on the occasion of his birthday.
They also sent a cable of congratulations to Brunei Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah on his country’s National Day and Guyanese President Mohamed Irfaan Ali on his country’s Republic Day.
HRH Prince Sultan sent a similar cable to Brunei Crown Prince Haji Al Muhtadee Billah.
