The General Directorate of Anti-Corruption, Economic and Electronic Security has warned against social media accounts claiming to provide hourly domestic workers.
It has urged the public not to be fooled by scammers, who would request money transfer and then disappear.
The directorate has also asked citizens and residents to check the licence before dealing with accounts offering such services on Instagram.
“There are fake entities whose sole goal is fraud. Do not trust any account without an official licence,” it added.
